John Daly Announces Apparel Line

PGA Professional and fan favorite, John Daly is introducing his own line of apparel, new for 2007. Daly has talked often about being a “feel” kind of player – and his own comfort on the course is part of that.“Everyone likes nice clothing, but the challenge for me has always been findingthings that are comfortable when I ’m playing” offers Daly. “Some are too tight and some are too hot. My new line has been designed with comfort and function in mind first and foremost. The fact they look great too is an added bonus. ”
At first glance Big John may seem like an unlikely choice to headline a golf apparel collection, but Daly’s VP of Marketing, Jeff Cravens, thinks it makes perfect sense. “There are a lot more guys out there built like John than are built like Tiger. If they can be assured of comfort, of form and of function, it makes perfect sense. Great looking clothes that are really, really comfortable? That ’s a no brainer.”
Comfort is the key ingredient in John Daly Apparel. Most items carrying the “Daly Comfort Wear” tag are made from Technical Performance fabrics that are moisture wicking, deodorizing and provide SPF protection. There are also some very high-end cotton and extraordinary specialty lifestyle shirts.
